just to let you know that I shall be having further celebrations for my 60th birthday at the Carlton Club on Saturday.

Instead of our usual pay at the door policy we will be asking for donations to "Kidneys For Life" charity based at Manchester Royal Infirmary.

This is my charity of choice in memory of my Dad, who had his kidney transplant there in 1970 and now, almost 50 years later, my daughter is working at MRI as a Staff Nurse in the Renal Unit. So please give generously.

I shall be putting a finger buffet on to soak up some beer but all I expect from you is your Presence not presents.

It's also our Karens birthday so it's a double celebration, I hope you can join us.

Just realised that Saturday night is our 5th Anniversary and want to thank you all for your support. It should be a great night with a great guest DJ Gary Thomas, who has been collecting since he was a teenager at Wigan and of course Wayne's 60th birthday (part 2, no time for part 3)
