Early recommendation for this one. Gives those travelling from afar to book those bargain adv rail  fares, hotel offers if fancying stopping over etc. 

We normally get there early doors, then leave earlier than we would ideally wish to catch the trains home. This time, however it will be a later train(s) so we can catch and enjoy guest John Parker's  spot as well as the residents. 

John has incrediable taste in mighty fine records of the highest order - hence his popularity guesting the length and breadth of the UK and Europe. A serious collector and fab, unassuming dj.

Tip. If your wanting to make a bit of a weekend of it /stay over, lots of bargain hotel rates on Trivargo from the (Newcastle Central) Travel Lodge on the Quayside with rooms at £24! 

to the very the upmarket, Hotel du Vin (normally £175 plus) for £54 (or £49 direct booking with the hotel). Virtually next door to the venue there is the 'Grey St Hotel' - mention 'Hoochie' when booking direct and you get discount. 

 Easy access by road from the south, by train - there's bargain adv fares typically York - Newcastle day return at less than £12.50. Last train south, 22.00 from Newcastle - the venues just a short walk away.
