Just a few days to go for some more top draw Northern Soul at Route61 our Guest DJ this month is the much respected Pete "Casper" Davies ~ plus residents ~ Steve Foster ~ Stu Teece ~ Mopsey

This is our 10th anniversary & my 68th birthday bash,

How good was Pete Davies on Friday!

A real happy vibe to the night, despite disruption on the M1 which caused a few problems to some punters. Music was top notch as per usual, a sensational set from Pete and absolute class from Fozzie and Mops, who between them have been on the scene for 100 years!!!!!... and it shows ha ha! (by that I mean their in-depth knowledge of the tunes is second to none).

Thanks to everyone who came, and to the people who tried real hard to get here but unfortunately had to turn back - your appreciation and dedication means a lot to our club.

Next Route is on Saturday 30th December - what better way to dance off your Christmas and Boxing Day dinners!!!! Also there'll be a free 10th anniversary CD at the door for everyone who attends. It would be so great to see you there.

Thank you so very much to Pete & Sue Davies after enduring a few hours added time on their journey up to Sheffield due to a very nasty accident which thankfully had no fatal injuries!
This sadly caused some people to turn around & head for home!
But the night went on & Pete arrived at Route61 & are we glad he did what a brilliant set Pete you played some great old favourites mixed in with floor fillers & some fresh to our ears well done & thank you so much!!!
Thank you also to Don & Stu again for the top draw northern soul you both played from the heart to give people what they wanted brilliant!!!
I contributed by playing some old favourites of mine 

I also want to thank my daughter Lisa who takes care of the entrance & who always greets you with a smile!
Thank you also to Kevin for yr kindness! thank you to Simon & Jo for yr birthday gift! & all others who gave me a card!
As you know i supply the equipment I also play records along with Stu & Don & guest DJs, each month,
But it is you patrons who provide us with the atmosphere & Friday the 10th was an electric one without a doubt i thank you all for being such a fabulous team of people who are loyal & true & know how to enjoy yr selves & give appreciation with applause per record!
I apologise for no anniversary CD but due to circumstances we couldn't get them done in time but we will hopefully give them out at our next event which is Saturday the 30th December! with Me Stu & Don plus guest DJ Dean Fox.
