Just to remind everyone coming along next Sunday we will be hosting a raffle on behalf on the Angie Davies Memorial Fund. 

We don’t require any more prizes on Sunday, we have some fantastic prizes already pledged.   We just need your generosity buying raffle tickets.

Please keep hold of any prizes you wish to donate until February for our charity alldayer. 

Looking forward to hearing Andy McCabe & Julian Bently play  their tunes, should be a great day.

We hope to see you all tomorrow for our Christmas event.  Offical opening time is 2pm but all being well we should be up and running and doors open by 1.30.

Thankyou everyone who took the time to come along and support the Legion today.  Money raised at the end of the raffle and kind donations was £400 which has been passed to Andy for the Angie Davies Memorial Fund.  I know there was also a donation or two deposited in the official hospice collection bucket......Plus donations to the homeless charity bucket our friend Julie brought along.....Julie and her husband are regular volunteers in Manchester city centre providing food, care and advice for the homeless.  I know any money they collected today will be put towards buying a new large shopping trolley style transportation to carry food, clothing, bedding and supplies needed    for their nightly trips to the city centre. 

Our next event is a full charity Alldayer on Sunday 2nd February, so far we have 20 DJ’s booked and confirmed to play on the day.  More info to come over the next week or so.
