And now it seems I have the dubious honour of managing proceedings on the second Sunday of every month…....
Here you can expect to hear yours truly delivering to you Soul Music played on “original” vinyl records, Sweet and Deep Soul, crossover, vocal group classics and new releases from the USA and  Europe…. perfect listening for a Sunday afternoon…… plus, always expect the unexpected!!!

We have two guest DJs this month;

Dave Hill (Green rooms) Dave is a stalwart of the early days around the Sheffield Soul scene at Samantha’s and other local venues. Dave is a respected  collector and DJ who can be guaranteed to bring something different to the decks.

Chris Hobson, a local lad who is new to the decks but has a fine ear for great Soul music,  quietly collecting for many years, he brings his own style with no preconceptions of what should or shouldn’t be played, we are very lucky to finally persuade him to share his great taste with us.

Resident DJs are;
Mags, (Our Mags) who needs no introduction to anyone around the Sheffield Soul scene, Mags has great enthusiasm for the music and continually surprises with her depth of knowledge and growing collection.

Russ Adams, resident DJ at the corner pocket Mexborough, Russ has many years experience as a DJ and his great passion is  Soul music with emphasis on the classic beat ballad popcorn genres, he can respond to the dance floor and is our most adaptable and professional DJ.
