Our Time Is Now 2018

What can I say about this event totalling refreshing, tunes of which 80% I never heard before, or forgot, a sound system that is probably one of the best I've heard soul music played on, the room is not the ritz, but somewhere that takes you back to nostalgic times in line with the music,

It's only 50 yards from the original torch venue, nice to see people who had even travelled down from Yorkshire, and up from Stafford, if you want rare and something different then this is place, can't wait for the next event.

You ALL played a part in the making of a most enjoyable experience, we really do appreciate your efforts and your positive comments...

Well, what a great night it was in Tunstall, such a great and varied selection of tunes that you just won't hear anywhere else on the scene, it all about being fresh and offering something different to keep the interest in quality tunes going. We don't play the same old stuff we dig deep and we hope that we are generating a real forward-looking interest in the music that we all love and enjoy! A great BIG thank you to everyone who has attended so far we really appreciate your interest and hope to see you at the next one in March!

Well said Shute! Top night and the music was back to back up-tempo up-front soul. My mojo had waned over the last year or two and we haven’t found many places that really deliver our sort of tunes....but that’s all now changed! Will be back in early March for another dose of amazing soulful music with like minded people. Well done chaps 👍🏻

First time for me at this new soul night, and what a brilliant idea these guys have come up with.  If you like your top 500 northern tunes, then this is not for you unless you're like me totally fed up of hearing the same old same old at every other venue, then you must give this little venue a try.

I can honestly say that I had not heard around 90% of the tunes played, and it was refreshing to hear something different.  People were giving it a go by dancing, whether they knew the tune or not and really enjoying themselves.

I for one will be returning to "Our Time is Now" at The Sneyd Arms Hotel, Tunstall, S-o-T.  So get yourselves down there and experience something different the next time it's on.
