Friday 16th February 2018 sees the next event at Ukrainian Club in Ashton-Under-Lyne.  Attendance at last month’s first anniversary was awesome (“thank you”) and word seems to be getting around that at this venue you’ll hear something a little different.  There may be tracks that are a little less familiar along with a good selection of tunes that you’ll know (and hopefully love)…but all on original vinyl with not a boot, a pressing or a CD in sight.

The focus will continue to be rare and underplayed, but with the emphasis on quality, with us attempting to get your toes-a-tappin’ and your feet-a-dancin’ (and for the collectors, your wants lists-a-growin’).

It appears that the change of venue in mid-2017 was a stroke of genius on the part of Brian Lester and Chris Churm with the room, the floor and the separate lounge/chill-out area proving to be a hit.

I’ve not had the guest DJs confirmed as yet, but will post the names as soon as I know.

The venue is just across the road from the Shell petrol station and whilst the car park is only small there's plenty of parking on the residential streets behind the venue.

Doors open at 7:30pm and entrance is a quite reasonable (we think) £3.00.

The event finishes at midnight.

What a find . Never failed yet . So many Top Sounds not played at all regular events . One we now look out for without fail .

Attending this event?? why not visit the legendary Beatin Rhythm record shop at Bank House Studios, Warwick St, Prestwich M25 3HN, open 10.30 til 5 Wednesday thru to Saturday....loads of Northern & Motown in stock!!!

Looking forward to tomorrow great venue perfect for rare northern night great bar prices as well. Get your self down there be early as last month was a packer

Should be another good night of rare soul at the UKRAINIAN CLUB  this friday . unfortunately  chris penn and his monsters  can't make it  this month  but will be back for the march date  so we have 3 competent  quality guest  dj/ collectors for tonight Iin DAVE  HALL   LES HARRISON  AND TONY MAC  . We would also like to thank everyone for the positive comments and support .

I'm disappointed that I can't attend this evening, if I could have been there I would have been there.

I know you'll have a great night though, based on music policy and the calibre of the DJ's that have been assembled for your listening and dancing  pleasure.
