Well it's the Black Cat's 4th birthday - doesn't seem so long since it all got started!! After a bit of a slow & shaky start, the Black Cat has gone from strength to strength - it is now a very well established soul club, with a great friendly atmosphere & supported by some of the best DJs on the soul scene 

Most of the regulars will know that host Paul Mitchell has been very ill recently, & after almost 2 weeks in hospital, is now recovering at home. Hats off to Laura (Paul's daughter) & Sherran (Paul's wife) for keeping Low Moor Club - including The Black Cat nights - all running as smoothly as normal.

I am sure everyone will echo my thoughts & wish Paul a speedy recovery & also a long & happy life to the Black Cat Soul Club.
