The Sink Soul Club Liverpoollast One

The first Sink Soul Club of 2018 takes place on Sunday 18th February, hope you can make it! 

The upstairs bar at the Magnet Club will now start opening from 2pm, a full hour before the fun starts at 3pm in the Sink Soul Club downstairs!

There will also be drinks promotions at all bars, including four cans or bottles for £10 and double spirits with mixer for £5.20.

All bars--including the three in the Sink Soul Cellar--will now have draught beer on tap including new lines of Red Stripe and Heineken.

Have been out and about recently, and even at Record Fairs, I'm hearing the buzz for the Sink getting louder and louder. It's a nice realisation that all the hard work we've put in is being appreciated and enjoyed. So, thank you everybody from Stan & Mae, Pete & Suzie, Tony & Lisa, and last but not least me (Dennis) for making what the Sink is, a really enjoyable 'house' full of happy people enjoying each others company, whilst listening and dancing to a mix of quality 60s Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Jamaican Sounds, original Mod floor fillers, Northern Soul, rare Motown, and much more.
Remember, get there early if you're looking for that prime seating spot for the night, as it gets really busy, very quickly. 

Just a week to go now till the first Sink Soul Club of 2018--always a packer, don't forget to arrive early if you want a seat!

We found out late this afternoon that the Magnet Bar has been sold and the club will be finishing as a music venue. 

Which means that Sunday's Sink Soul Club will be the last ever music event in this historic club--so sorry about the short notice but we've only just been informed.

On behalf of everyone involved in running the Sink Soul Club--Stan & Mae, Dennis, Pete & Suzi, Lisa & myself--we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the club over the years.

The Magnet Bar was due to celebrate its 60th anniversary this year which makes it's imminent closure all the worse really, there are very few original venues of this nature still existing not just in the North West but nationally.

So let's say goodbye properly on Sunday to the Sink Soul Club, hopefully it will be a packer and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

I would like to add my thanks to all who have attended this event in the last couple of years - YOU have made the special day that it has become. I never thought that I would be able to return and DJ at No.45 and it took 10 years but was worth the wait. Thanks to Lisa, May, Suzie, Tony and of course original Sink members Dennis and Stan for all their hard work. Don't forget in the words of the song 'If you miss this one there'll never be another one'   Pete.  

As mentioned earlier in this thread, this is the very last Sink Soul Club in the Magnet Bar.

But.....some great news, folks! We have secured a brilliant new venue which is situated just five minutes from the original venue and also five minutes from Lime Street Station. It is a basement cellar club with ample parking nearby and with loads of pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. 

We're sure you'll be as pleased as we are with the new club, it really does tick all the boxes!

So as we say a fond farewell to the Sink Soul Club in the Magnet Bar we also look forward to the future in our superb new venue--all will be revealed on Sunday at the Sink Soul Club! 

Just a few hours to go till the very last Sink Soul Club downstairs in the original Magnet Bar venue---we will be unveiling our new venue for the Sink at the club this afternoon.

Dont forget to arrive early as this afternoon will be a packer, especially if you want a seat.
