The Simon Cuerden Memorial Blesma Charity All Nighter

Hi Guys  Please read all.. 

As you may know I ran the BLESMA charity events with Simon Cuerden before his untimely passing . 

When I visited him in hospital the day before he passed . I made him a promise that I intend to keep 

 I promised him that The Annual BLESMA Charity event would continue in his Name  

Here Comes the favour that I am asking from you Guys .... 

I know that it should go in events ,  But if i post Updates , Photos and Stories about this Event 

THE SIMON CUERDEN MEMORIAL BLESMA CHARITY ALL NIGHTER ON  18thJan  2020 is there any chance  that in addition,  you could You Share, Comment ,Like or Whatever you see fit, to Raise the profile of the Event Please?   

The Response so far has been bloody amazing , if you notice for that weekend, Both All Nighters and Many Soul nights have either cancelled or moved their regular events away  out of respect for  Simons Memorial . 

This Means that for once in many years  or  even the first time ever, The soul scene has put politics and rivalries to one side  to honour a Soul Legend and to support a great cause in BLESMA   The Limbless Veterans Charity. 

SIMONS other love  was The Armed Forces Scooter Club . ( AFSC) they also have decided to be involved with this event and have sold 250 tickets .. so in response we have booked the Main Ballroom  at Swinton in addition to the 2 rooms where we normally have Swinton Nighters. This now takes the total capacity for the 3 rooms over 1100  giving it the chance to become The Biggest Northern Soul Charity All Nighter Ever!  With 3 Rooms and  over 40 of the the countries top Djs wanting to play ..  

Already we have been pledged over £3000 worth of raffle prizes   From  people such as Richard Searling. Kev Roberts .  Rugby Benn Hall . Nuneaton Co Op.  SCOOTOPIA  Dave Rimmer . Stockport Soul Clothing.. Loake Shoes  Ady Croasdell  and many private individuals .. which in itself is amazing !  

 We were wondering as Simon was such a character on here  would you make a special exception and promote the event on our behalf all over the site where the extra exposure would raise awareness of it way beyond what it is now   
IMHO Guys . How the soul scene  has come together behind this event in such a way has been unique.  I can honestly say that  It would have made the Phantom Fingerer Sooo!  Proud!   and for the first time in many years it has made me proud to be a Soulie!

One week to go until the biggest and most important nighter of the year.  Never been to Swinton Palais before,  well now is the chance to get out there and sample the unique atmosphere of a proper old fashioned nighter venue and for such a deserving cause.  Go on I dare you.

I've got no connection with the venue or the promoters just a connection with the cause.  

Anyone going from st helens or near to it who could give me a lift to this event i would be grateful will contribute to petrol x

It would be interesting to see how many soul sourcers are actually going to be in attendance.  Come on, Don't be shy its for a wonderful and worthy cause and get your names on here either via the RSVP or tag them on this post. 

Brent.  Have you got the DJ times and in which rooms sorted out yet mate ? 

This will be without doubt one MAHOOSIVE Allnighter.....If you go to one Allnighter in 2020...make sure its this one !!!
The 'buzz' around this is 'off the scale' ...there are folks travelling from far and wide for this one....including close personal friends of Simon's to 'nodding acquaintances ' ..a true measure of the mans impact on the 'scene' and the esteem in which he was held

Advised to get there early..get a feel of the place...raise a glass, have a dance, finger a bird :-) ..just take a minute to remember him

It will be real 'gathering of the clans' ..a chance to catch up with folks we don't see that often
