Best soul night in the business it is the biz.Hoping to see me mate kimbo again at this one ,I haven't been out much of late but this certainly one on my doorstep I can't miss,great atmosphere and a very soulfully aware set of regulars djs and attenders from the clan of soul alike.

Roll on the next couple of weeks coz this soul night rolls over more than a couple of weak wish washy so called soul nights ,this one really works with its mix of music.

Just under a week now to go, the weather has been hot but it cant beat the soulful heat generated by well spun soulful choons that I am looking forward to hearing next Friday night .Not too long now to go!

Disregarding the strain on his leg muscles through heavy participation in the bog snorkling season my good mate Kimbo has told me that even if he breaks a leg in the fiercely competitive world of b s Lisa will still bring him in a wheelchair if needs be though I hope it won't come to that for such a fine soulclansman as Kimbo.(He does like his unorthodox hobbies and pastimes though!)

Whoa! I've been out in the sun to long,roll on this week till some Friday night soulful healing of my psyche can take place perhaps putting me grooving on a groove once more.

Hi Ray,I think Kimbo is the real legend one of those who started mid seventies on the scene and never left a true soulclansman as are many of (that's regardless of when we may have started stopped or returned),we'll  most of ,well in fact  nearly all Cali attenders.I have heard that my mate Kimbo won the b s semi final over the weekend and being modest as ever on asking him to bring the trophy to show me on Friday when he said maybe I know he won't however it may just be talking about bog snorkelling would get in the way of talking about,listening to,dancing to and commenting on the choons being spun rather than spinning tales about prowess at the minority sport of bog snorkling.Therefore being a true soulclansman the music being all, he will leave behind his trophy and attached bragging rights;for him as for me as for us all soulsatifaction be,'Our Thing'.

Hi Manus, just to let you know I am still intact and  enjoyed getting a semi at the bog snorkel gathering. My new wet suit made from the hair of the Peruvian Llama was a great secret weapon. That plus only having 3 toes on each foot  like a fighting cock.  As the season is now over I am looking forward to The Cali on Friday. More people need to give this fantastic soul nite a try. Great dance floor toons and people. I will of course be snorkeling up the Nene from Wellingbrough to Peterborough

then to the venue via streams, water filled ditches and sewers. Regards Kimbo aka Adrian Bogworthy.

It was a great night as usual,very hot that is the choons and dj's also the weather, a brilliant place to spend time talking with friend's who are quality soul people all.Get any better,no sincerely doubt it ,it's top soul night as it is.I look forward each time as the weeks and day's grow near till it's time for ,''Grooving on a groove'', once again. Thanks to all d j's and all the soulfolk who make the night.
