Northern Soul Broken Cross

Disappointing,far too much Motown played.As with many venues,the same tunes played each time.Great dance floor,but venue only half full.Could be a good venue if these issues are addressed.On the positive side,I still had a great night and met some old friends.

Went last night and very disappointed, advertised as Northern night but was a Tamala night, we travelled a distance for this, also numerous people smoking vape fags around the room one 4 foot from where we sat and one prick dancing on floor with glass in hand. Will not be going again. It’s a shame as the room was good sized with decent dance floor. Judging what we saw a local night for local people.

I thought it was a great night. Yes played  half dozen motown  all of which were NS such, as  do i love you my favourite, 6x6 Earl van Duke and Edwin Star which again was my request.  Still great music really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one.  Great venue and friendly atmosphere. *****
