The last (and first) Culcheth was FANTASTIC love the venue and especially love the back room which is an improvement on Lowton - just that bit more warm, cozy & atmospheric. Really looking forward to this Fridays installment - here's my first selection:

A great big THANK YOU to my friend Lenny Dopson for putting me onto this gem - it's not often I hear something of this quality that's new to my ears these days, I can't believe it hasn't already done the rounds with the big boys. Just my humble opinion of course; usual disclaimers etc etc..... spinning in the back room on Friday if you're interested

Great record, used to get plays on the crossover/70s nights always reminds me this from round about the same time

Cheers Baz - maybe you can play the other Brothers again for me in the main room LOVE IT (an 'undercut' as Marcelle would say, that's an underplayed cut to us :D)

Can't wait for tomorrow night at Culcheth - I just call it Lowton TBH. Great new venue, absolutely loved the last instalment and can only see things getting better. 2 great rooms to go at with great atmosphere so should be something for most tastes, although I tend to be drawn to the back room - but I do get itchy feet especially during Bob Hinsleys spot in the main room usually (but don't tell him)

Kev's Culcheth Crackers...always a great selection from Kev Murphy Culceth/Lowton resident, whether it is a monster oldie or a suprise spin from the dim and distant past, there's something for everyone when Kev takes to the decks
