About The Event

Into a forth year at Soul Shack.  After a bumpy start we are now settled into the Calendar as a regular first Saturday event.  Not looking like stopping in the near future.  Fabulous venue and support from both Staff and 'punters'.

Thanks to John Vincent for his continued support, be just another night without him.

This Saturday sees our 4th Anniversary and we will be joined by a fabulous DJ and Soul Shack Virgin

Jnc 28 M1 - A38 toward Derby. Alfreton exit, turn Right on the Roundabout.  Follow that road up the hill. Tesco on your right.  50 Yards on the Left - The Genesis Centre

Opposite The Four Horseshoes !!

If you reach the Traffic Lights/Cross Roads at the top of the hill you have gone about 50 Yards to far !!!

Sat Navs tend to take you on a wild goose chase so please be aware.

Yeah we went after seeing Soulshack in the club room at Bridlington, which was a highlight of our weekend. We travelled from Stoke to their 4,th anniversary night and we weren't disappointed . Absolutely fantastic sets of rare soul played by all D J',s . We will definitely be back !

Ridiculously hot last night at Soul Shack despite having every window open and 2 Titanic propeller sized fans blowing out.

Despite the numerous Weekenders and other events we were blessed with a great crowd of Soulful folk eager for something good and by god they came to the right place. 

Our guest for the night was Gibby who’s exuberant delivery of his selection of tunes was fabulous as always. John Vincent and myself filled the rest of the night with our tunes old, new and everything in between.

Bit of a Hiatus next month as the Summer Holidays have forced us away but back in September when the weather should be cooler but the Soul Shack will be just as hot !

September we have as our guest Ashley Fellows. Knows his music this guy XX
