Second Installment of Listen Up! at The Woolpack Inn - York.

8.30 - 1am   |   Free Entry

What you’ll get:
Rare and underplayed soul from 65 - 70ish with a mix of Rhythm & Soul, Northern, RnB and Funky Edged Soulful Dancers. Your not going to hear many floaters and it’s not a top 500 night but I’m sure we’ll spin a few oldies at some point.

Guests
We want our guests to keep it fresh and relevant for today’s discerning ears. The idea is to get a couple under our belts and then start booking a few guest spinners who are at the top of their games from right across the North and further afield - you know who you are so expect a call!

Getting there
The venue is about a 15 minute walk from York Station. There is free parking right outside the venue for a few cars and a car park right a couple of mins walk away: https://www.york.gov.uk/directory_record/507/st_georges_field_car_park_and_coach_park_-_yo10_4ab

After our inaugral night at the Crescent Club, we decided to move across Town to the Woolpack Inn, great little venue, great beers and a place where we think will suit us and our particular brand of descerning Soul music, hope to shortly announce a very special guest for our first Real night and to kick start our regular Listen Up! nights with a bang.

p.s.,  we are so bloody laid back we have only just got round to thinking of a guest LOL, however, what we can always promise is to deliver quality guests as well as ourselves of course. These events will be bi monthly and hopefully we will have all the guests in place very shortly (he says).
