Sunday August 19th brings forth another Northern Soul, Soul Motown and 60s R&B Alldayer, at the Legendary 'Leeds Central Soul Club'.
This event is the only event in the UK that is still running at the original venue that it was staged in, in 1968, so 50 years this year.
The Northern Soul Alldayers are staged Bi-Monthly at the 'HiFi' Club (Formally The Leeds Central Soul Club) 2 Central Road, Leeds LS1 6DE.
The 'HiFi' Club is a basement venue, and is the longest running nightclub in the city of Leeds, spanning over 50 years, and features an amazing Sound System incorporating the best sound equipment available, and a sprung wooden dance floor which spans over 70% of the venue. HiFi Club has won numerous awards as being the best club in the city, and is well renowned for it's diverse music policies and events.
When it comes simply the very best in Northern Soul and Related music, as it was back in the day, and played by the original DJs of the day, you simply can't beat this one, with names like;
Paul Rowan, Twink, Steve Luigi, Fred Ward, Keith Atkinson, Mike Eastwood, Tony Jackson, Chris Mallows, Swish, Sammy Seaman, Stewart Richards to name but a few, between them, have nigh on 550 years combined DJing experience, now that takes some beating.
Join us at this truly historic Northern Soul Event, and feel the atmosphere of the 1960s and 1970s, come weeping from the walls.
