Geoff 1,032 Posted August 6, 2019 Are the tickets for the anniversary nighter in September going to be on sale as usual at this one? And, if so, what's the price please? Link to comment
Ady Croasdell 2,484 Posted August 6, 2019 11 days to go to our next 'nighter. It's a particularly groovy DJ line-up with a double dose of Merseyside soul DJs in Flanny and William Askew. Residents Butch, Ady & Tomas complete the rare soul line-ip. Tickets for the 40th Anniversary all nighter on September 21st will go on sale on the door for the first time. This will undoubtedly sell out very quickly so try and get yourselves down to snap them up. There should be some left (there always has been before) which will go on sale the next day by PayPal £26 each (£27 if outside the UK) to ady.croasdell@btinternet.com If anyone is sending a cheque they are £25 each and include a stamped addressed envelope - also email me to say you've sent it. Inevitably some people will pay and get refunded when we sell out. Sorry we can't squeeze more in. Link to comment
Guest Posted August 19, 2019 Surly bouncer took my (empty) re-useable water bottle off me at the door. He said I could collect it when I left. It had "got lost" by the time I left 2 hours later. Served beer in plastic beakers by equally surly bar staff . A mountain of these plastic beakers going to landfill by the end of the night. Music very average, venue very grimy, toilets very smelly with black mould on wall. Don't believe the hype! Much better Northern Soul clubs in London. Link to comment

You could have bought a bottle of water at the bar - it's what the venue expects and is fair enough I reckon. Once you'd used the contents to either quench your thirst or clean the place up a bit, hey presto... you'd have another empty bottle! Every niter I attend has a low spot for me because I am old and grumpy, but is more than compensated for by the rest of the night. You should have persevered, the music for the 5 hours you missed was outstanding! -Kev2hermesetasandapinchofsalt 5 Link to comment

Good luck at the other nights. atb ps This is where 'the hype' comes from : http://www.6ts.info/music-6ts2.html Edited August 20, 2019 by Corbett80 3 Link to comment
