It's safe to say that there’s been a spiritual uprising of late with the heavy influence of Gospel music spreading it’s posi-tive vibrations throughout contemporary popular music culture whether it be found in backing the lyrical poetry of Loyle Carners ‘Isle Of Arran’ through to one of last years biggest dance ditties the gospel house influenced Karizma & Marcel Vogel ‘The Deadpool E.P’. Singer Song writer Michael Kinwanuka showcased his love for the genre with a Gospel radio special on BBC 6. Harry and Megan got in on the sister-act as The Kingdom Gospel Choir made Royal Wedding History to be the first ever gospel choir to perform at a Royal Wedding. If that wasn't enough Rapper, impres-sario Snoop Dogg's latest music venture was not an Ghetto penned album but a fully fledged Gospel album showcasing some of America’s finest Gospel talent in the shape of ‘The Bible Of Love’. 

For the very first time, three of the UK's leading DJ Collectors of the retrospective Soul, Funk, Rhythm & Blues to Disco side of the genre will get together to show case some of their most sort after and rare gospel soul discoveries with a back to back D.J session.

Lead by one of the leading lights in the Gospel Soul genre, Los Angeles based D.J Greg Belson will be joined by long term collector David Hill, the man responsible for the Nuphonic label back in the the late nighties and early noughties along with The Showfa another spiritual and devotional music fanatic who conjures up re-edits from deep depths of this musical genre.

Here's a rare chance to hear some primo quality sounds of the underground, in what is most definitely a landmark gig for the Gospel music loving fraternity.
