Northern Soul Night Derby

An event to celebrate the UK’s most famous underground dance movement, we are bringing the sounds and styles of Northern Soul to Déda.

The night will see the launch of a new exhibition by photographer Doug Smith entitled One Sunday in 1974 where he captured the charged atmosphere of an all-dayer at Cleo’s nightclub. There will be an opportunity to learn to shuffle and spin before hitting the dance floor driven by DJ’s playing classic underground Northern Soul tracks.
