About The Event

Charity Soul returns to The Buck Inn for the annual Motown Weekender. This is after the fabulously successful event at the Buck Inn for the Northern Soul weekender when we raised a fantastic sum of donation funds.

The usual suspects will be dj-ing over the course of the weekend and we will be holding our popular raffles and the famous Charity Soul memorabilia will be on display with some new  and exclusive contributions on sale by courtesy  from an ex Wigan Casino dj  

This is undoubtedly the biggest and best FREE event of the Motown Soul weekend. All the participants helping in this event, dj's, merchandise helpers and raffle collectors do so with NO monetary rewards for the time, effort and person expenditure incurred

The last weekender for Charity Soul at the brilliant Buck Inn. Rammed during the Northern Soul weekender due to a game of Wendy Ball being played . The usual suspects will be on duty during the two days at Whitby. 

Unfortunately I'll have to give this one a miss as I'm doing research work in Murcia, Roda Bar, Straw Bar, Secret Garden (lol) for our next Festiavl of Soul in 2019.

We will have on sale at the Buck during the weekend a selection of Terry Kneeshaw soul prints, some framed and posters , donated by Terry for us to sell to raise funds for our Charity.

These will be a much less than the online price, so this is a once in a life time opportunity to obtain a copy of Terry's art at a substantial price reduction.
