Kettering Athletic Soul Night

Coming over to Kettering tomorrow,hope we have a great turnout for one off my old Kettering buddies Bob Barr what a character RIP BOB regards Monny 

I hope the night will be full of uptempo tunes to fill the floor and remember not only Bob Barr but all of our lost souls and soulies KTF ,,from his long time friend monny

Let's make this a night to remember 

This was a fantastic night, Marco and Karl were brilliant and the floor was rammed..... 1st Guesf DJ Derek Smiley was great and kept the floor busy, 2nd Guest DJ Avril Kesteven was ok and struggled I put this down to nerves. And this must have been the reason she played 2 records again that the previous DJ had already played...... 

Seen Avril dj a few times say she is nervous ,loads of bollocks ,allways confident when I have listened to her spots, so she played a couple records all ready been played ,she was l8 getting there ,no lists to look at to see what had been played ,how was she to no 

WOW!!!!! Avril was there for the whole of Derek's set and before. Derek played Holly St James at the end of his set, Avril played the same record on a boot 10 minutes later she then played another record later again in her set. Last year at Chesham she followed a DJ by playing 3 of his records again. In a previous comment she said was nervous about following Derek Smiley. So I said she was ok and she looked nervous. Because you ranted about something you weren't even there, I've had to come out and tell everyone she played THE BOOT 3 records later on. Well done Spanner.....

Right I wasn’t going to comment but now being accused of playing boots I will do. I had my originals with me last night. I don’t play boots. 

How could you see my records to say I was playing a boot? You couldn’t. As for missing dereks last record I went outside for a break just before going on stage. 

My record box has been originals for about 18 months now. So just shows that you know nothing about me. 

You won’t stop me djing no matter what you say about me I love the music too much.

Then I oppologise for saying that, if you've got Holly St James on original then..... It's only because you did the same thing last year playing 3 records that the previous DJ had played at Chesham..... But you played boots before conning the punters, Holly St James is worth 2k now. If you've got that I will make a statement on Facebook saying you are the chosen one

I would just like to make a comment I am not being critical or complimentary just constructive,, being mostly an allnighter dweller I don't  attend many soul nights how ever I was looking forward to listening to Avril ,, when I realised it was the lady dancing in the corner I thought we would be in for a treat very good dancer ,,but that was a spot that should of only  been played in the kitchen,,losing the floor that many times was not just nerves that was playing to yourself,,
