Continuing the German theme. Some years ago at a Cleethorpes Weekender, when the Sunday night fancy dress party was in full swing. Stan (Evans) decides to go to the gents . As he walks in he spots a lad dressed in full Bavarian kit, lederhosen the lot. Stan then proceeds to do one of the best imitations of John Cleese in Fawlty Towers. Stiff legs, arm raised, finger under the nose. “Zig Heil”, “Don’t mention the War” etc. The place erupted as the lad was one of the young German soulies. The look on Stan’s face was a picture - he was horrified. Have to say the lad took it in good spirit.

Hahaha, God I wish I'd been there 🙂
And who says the Germans don't have a sense of humour.

Just a week to go till the next Sink Soul Club @ Heebie Jeebies, looking like another very busy event once again--hope you can make it!

Steve Yates and Mr. Dunning will be in attendance as usual, both with record boxes bulging full of records for sale, also as usual 🙂 👍

Definitely loads of bargains to be had for all the vinyl junkies in attendance on Sunday!

Lots of interest on FB, should be another very busy afternoon.
