Ilkley Soul Club returns for its first outing of 2019.
Floorfilling northern and 100mph Motown guaranteed from residents Ian Smith and Keith Hudson. This month's special guests is Mick Nichols of Burnley (Clitheroe and many others). All records played on original vinyl.
Unfortunately we have had to make 2 late changes to the advertised schedule. Firstly due to work and personal commitments resident DJ and co founder Barry Innocenti has decided to step down. Also Vic Hankins, the other guest is unable to make it. So, we have asked Bradford record collectors Danny Steel and Trevor Lofthouse to step in. Danny and Trevor run the successful events at the Black Swan at the Whitby annual Northern and Motown weekenders and always keep the floor busy.
We are very sad to lose Barry and will miss his enthusiasm, commitment and dancing. We do look forward to welcoming him back as a guest and DJ at future events.
If you have not been before pay us a visit. The club has a good dancefloor, friendly faces, reasonable bar prices and great atmosphere.
