HYDRO SOUL CLUB - directions, once again, as we had a few who struggled to find us last month.
DL5 6EA, is on School Aycliffe Lane. We are based within Ineos/Inovyn works site, which is on School Aycliffe lane. If you approach from the East (Newton Aycliffe) the access road is the third turn on the left after you turn onto School Aycliffe lane at the mini roundabout. If you approach from the west School Aycliffe Lane, after you leave the large roundabout at Heighington bypass, continue until you are through School Aycliffe, the tun off to the site is the first junction after you leave the village. (you can't miss the steam stacks which are noticeable from miles around).

Kevin Sowerby HAS REMAINED A STAUNCH SUPPORTER OF THE HYDRO VENUE OVER THE YEARS. HE IS A POPULAR LOCAL AND NATIONAL DJ WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE. WE LOOK FORWARD ONCE AGAIN TO MAKING HIM WELCOME AT OUR VENUE.
PLEASE, CAN I REITERATE ONCE AGAIN, THAT IT IS PREFERRED THAT YOU TRY TO GET TO US BEFORE 9 PM, AS MICK AND I HAVE TO TAKE TURNS ON THE ACCESS GATE TO ENSURE YOU ARE ALL SIGNED IN AND AUTHORISED (COMPANY SECURITY POLICY). IF YOU ARE COMING AND FEEL YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT BEFORE 9 PM, PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE FOR ME ON HERE OR FB, Hydro Soul Club, AND I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE LISTED AS LATE GUESTS. YOU WILL HOWEVER HAVE TO GO TO THE GATE HOUSE AND ANNOUNCE YOURSELF AND SIGN IN, YOU MAY ALSO BE ASKED FOR SOME FORM OF I/D.
THE OLD PLACE WAS PACKED OUT LAST MONTH, LETS SEE IF WE CAN BEAT THE ATMOSPHERE THAT WAS CREATED ON THAT NIGHT.
I WAS ASKED LAST MONTH WHY WE WEREN'T RUNNING ON AFTER MIDNIGHT ANY LONGER. THE ANSWER TO THAT IS: IF THE DEMAND IS THERE THEN I WILL CONTINUE TO PLAY RECORDS. BUT IF THERE ARE ONLY TWO OR THREE PEOPLE THERE ON THE RUN UP TO MIDNIGHT THEN THERE ISN'T A DEMAND. I WAS STILL THERE AT 1 AM LAST MONTH, SO STICK AROUND A BIT LONGER IF YOU FEEL THE NEED AND WE WILL OFFER ENTERTAINMENT.
