Bishop Auckland RAFA club

Event Information

It's time for our annual Christmas party at the RAFA club. As usual, music will be across the board but with a tendency towards rare & underplayed 60's. Events start early at 3.00pm with open decks until 6.30. Main deejays on the night are Glen Walton, Steve Wilson, Col Denham, Pete Gardiner, Roddy Brass and Melvin McShane. Both the Edinburgh lads played some top quality stuff last time and we're all looking forward to their return. As usual, entrance is £3 on the door. Events finish when everyone goes home. Cheap bar prices, a friendly atmosphere and something a bit different, what more do you need!

A recipe for shear drunkness me thinks.

A lot of new 60s finds to be played.

Plus a monster from over the water the other way.

And the old Limeliters cover up will be uncovered on the evening. Before you ask yes There is a spare copy for sale as well on the night. So bring some used escudoes or a chest full of drachmas. Red Polydor beast will be unleashed as well as it’s Christmas

Oh forgot George he won’t be awake till end of March how was the match finished 1-1 didn’t it. Leeds score in the 103 minute lucky gets Boro should have been over the hill and away. How’s Dickie. Did he enjoy the match. We had a cracking turn out last night George popped in.

Be good if you coul get to the September do George. As it’s the closest to my birthday on the 4th. And for this one - the music has to be rarer unknowns. Your big hitters will go down a storm as well as those other little beasts I hear you have been purchasing out of left field. You are definitely more than welcome as you know George. All the best and keep in touch. I’m back out to China on the 18th February for 22 days.
