Soul The Harold Bradford

Joining us as our special guest DJ on Saturday 29 June is the ever popular Eddie Burnside. This will be the first night of our slightly tweaked music policy where we move to more sixties club soul, RnB, Mod and Motown whilst still retaining Northern. Once again feedback has been positive and we are expecting a busy night.

Really sad to see that Stuart Arber is saying goodbye to the Harold soul nights in order to concentrate on his own ventures, but great to know that he & Steve are parting on the best of terms & will remain very good friends.

On a happier note - welcome to new resident DJ Danny Steel who will now be stepping in to take over Stuart's role as co-host of the soul nights at The Harold club, along with promoter Steve Dalton.  Sounds as though the music policy has had a bit of a tweak too - a bit less in the way of northern & a bit more in the way of 60s oldies - back to my misspent youth - FAB!!!!    

This little club really has got it all - buzzing atmosphere always with a warm welcome - quality sound system - top-notch sprung dance floor & bar prices that are hard to beat. Oh & the music's great too - the Harold gets a massive thumbs up every time from me! 

Stuart has been an absolute rock since we took over The Harold Soul Club last summer. But things change and move on as we have with our music policy - not a dramatic change but a tweak. Stuart is successfully co-hosting another venue as well as DJ spots elsewhere so he has plenty to keep him out of mischief! We will maintain our good relationship that we have built up over the last few months.

Danny Steel now joins us as our joint resident DJ and brings with him a wealth of experience in playing vinyl on the sixties soul music scene. Welcome to The Harold Danny.
