legendary venue - did not go in January but judging by the turn-out last night - you could count the No's in 10's not hundreds - I for one was amazed, the lack of returnees meant most were less than impressed and despite some good banter and welcome meeting of old mates (this got my 2stars ) nothing could disguise the fact that security and bar staff probably accounted for 10% of the visible attendees. Those in attendance made the best of it and as a proportion of the total the dance floor % of the total was much higher than normal - maybe due to the  space available on said dance floor.  

Sad to say that with these numbers the venue will not be long for this world as a soul venue.

Response from the promoter:

Yes, was quieter than January but a couple of hundred made it on a hot Easter weekend with tons on. 

Split between two rooms, yes it looked quiet, but the music was very good I thought and the people were nice and it's not just about numbers is it? 

Will certainly be doing it again, of course, but never on a bank holiday.
