Monthly reminder for Coppenhall, this coming Friday.
This month we have special guest DJ, Johnny Beggs from the Box doing the third of this years theme sets, The Golden Torch. 
John, one of the original DJs from this iconic club has been DJing for manys years on the circuit and knows ropes.
Also starting the evening off at 8pm and setting the trend for the night , we have Rob Yates from Newtons got Soul. It's going to be a cracker!

A massive thanks to all that turned up last to support the third of our guest DJ theme nights ( The Torch), We had people from The Crosville soul club, The Box, The Cheshire soul club, Newtons got soul, Trinity soul club and even people from as far away as Bolton,GREAT NIGHT something played for all tastes.

As regards to the DJs, The night started with Rob Yates from Newtons Got Soul who did a fantastic spot getting the floor going early in the night, he was followed by resident Kev Ellis who played a great mix until our main guest Johnny Beggs graced the decks. Johnny, one of the unsung DJs from the early days at the Torch (now residing at the Box) which he Co promotes with his brother, went on to play some classic oldies from the golden days of this iconic venue. Finishing the night off we had another of our residents Dennis Reade, playing more classics and favourites right up until the end of play, all in all - - a brilliant evening, and again THANKS to all that supported us.

Next month we have the last of this years Guest theme nights. With it being September the 20th (48 years since the official closure of Wigan Casino) we've invited one of Wigans originals Rod Looker. Rod who now runs and promotes The Services in Widnes, DJ'd back in the day at Wigan. Supported by the regular crew, This has got the makins of another great night.

Hi guys can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to coming along to play a Wigan Casino set for you all, I have put a set together that spans what in my opinion was The halcyon days of that legendary club 74 to 78 hope you can make it to come and get those memories
