We would like to invite you to the second of our 3 Northern Soul & Motown Nights of 2019 at The Winking Man Pub.

We will be playing everything on vinyl as usual, Motown dancers, Northern Soul Classics, Sixties Soul and of course some rarer and underplayed tunes thrown in!

We have also listened to your feedback and will be acting upon it. We often get accused and even criticized for playing "too much Motown". Well in our opinion, Motown is a fantastic part of the Soul scene. A lot of our 'Soul at the Man' guests attend specifically for the Motown sound and we would love them to continue coming. What I can guarantee though is that there will only be absolute top class Motown dancers from now on. Quality over quantity! All killers no fillers!

It is a fantastic venue with absolutely everything a Soul fan needs. It is a gem in the Peak District on the main Leek to Buxton Road A53. It has beautiful surroundings and a large free car park. Overnight camper vans are more than welcome.

Inside, the large bar opposite the stage sells a great range of refreshments at very reasonable prices. There is ample seating throughout the venue when you need to take a breather from dancing.

In between the stage and the bar is the pride and joy of the room... the huge dancefloor. It will be polished to perfection and a pleasure to dance on. We must insist on NO TALC OR DRINKS on the dancefloor please.

Tickets are just £4 each and available from Benks Pub, Stockwell Street, Leek and The Winking Man, Upper Hulme, A53 (Leek - Buxton Road) or £5 OTD.

Return transport is also available from Leek at just £2 per person. These must be booked and paid for in advance and will sell out quickly so please book early to avoid disappointment.
