Our next date for our ‘Movin’ On A Groove’ - Sunday Soul Chill-Out is Sunday 21st July - 2pm till late.
We are very pleased to announce that we have pulled off a bit of a coup as we have managed to book Andy Hudson of Bradford to come and play for us at the Ivory bar. Andy started collecting around late 1974 and had his first trip to north America looking for records in 1976. Andy sold nearly all of his collection when he got married but started collecting again in the late 1980's.
Andy is a big fan of the Stafford sound but he never managed to visit. He pretty much loved everything that came out of the Stafford era. Andy has only ever guested at venues but unfortunately has never been a resident. He has played at the Earl of Doncaster, clubs in York and of course Calverley and Meanwood.
Andy's favourite venues were Cleethorpes Pier, the Winter Gardens and nearer to home Leeds central - so expect to hear some fabulous tunes!
Andy is really looking forward to the event and from some of the tracks he sent that he is hoping to play I am sure you will not be disappointed.
The Ivory bar is located in Harrogate town centre and we are on the 36 Leeds - Harrogate - Ripon bus route - only a minutes walk from Betty’s Tea Rooms on Parliament Street.
