Djs are encouraged to play, in the main, outside the Northern Soul "top 500" - just mainly to avoid stuff you hear @ loads of other venues as the aim is to dig deeper & be different - then anything soulful goes from the last 50 odd years!

First timers really welcome and the venue is easy to find & close to the train station, so do come and give us a look-in for your midweek soul fix! Trains run back to Liverpool, Formby, etc frequently til after 11...Manc Burscough Bolton Wigan etc too....you'll have to leave earlier (10ish for the last train) but we start at 7 so you can still get three great hours in! Last orders 11.40, tunes spin til the midnite hour. We think you will not hear a more varied top quality selection of soul records anywhere. Five hours of fun for free entry.
