East meets West this Friday night.

Stokes very own soulboy “Mr Phil Ankers” will be making the hazardous journey through Derbyshire to get to the land of Robin Hood with a healthy following of eager dancers, to guest DJ alongside Nottinghams best known soulboy “Mr Rob Smith”.

Its gonna be a stormer, be early for a seat, the aircon will be on full all night to compensate.

WOW!!!!      Probably the best nights entertainment for a lot of years and all the required boxes were ticked with the music going on til way after One O’ Clock (phew). All the DJ’s brought their “A-Game” to the decks,

Rob Smith played the best set I’ve heard from him, some of the records he must have been saving for a rainy day (and of course it did earlier on Friday lolz).

Phil must have put his best ever set together, because even with the air con on full, we were all drenched in exuberance and fulfilment.

Just let me say, if you went, you definately got your money’s worth and if you didn’t, then you missed something really special.

A big thanks to everyone who did come, especially the Stoke, Boston and Sheffield crowds, who travelled so far in the awful weather and last but not least, our regular crowd, for showing that ever grateful loyalty and the appreciation to the DJ’s
