In it`s 4th year this weekender at St.Ishmaels in Pembrokeshire. south west wales keeps going from strength to strength and this years is looking like not disappointing. 2 fantastic days and nights of Across The Board Northern Soul bringing you your favourite tracks and some nice surprises.

Our DJ`s this year has between them played in such iconic venues as Wigan Casino. Cleethorps alldayers. Unity Hall allnighters . Samanthas Sheffield. Notts Palais and the UK`s longest running soul club Leeds Central, Torquay Weekender. Whitby Weekender, Las Vegas soul trip. the famous Kidderminster Harriers Soul night, and in Wales at Porthcawl Pavilion, Blackwood, Saundersfoot and Tenby soul events. Phew !!  and thats just a quick overview by no means definitive.

Accommodation can be found at local hotels and B+B`s, OR on site camping , caravan , motorhome at only £5 per pitch per night. book/pay on arrival.

Showers and toilets on site and cooked breakfast and dinner can be purchased in the clubhouse along with hot drinks and bar all day. cheap bar prices.

What a lovely place  to have a weekender. Wish I could be there.  Unfortunately got to wait until the end of September before I return.

You are absolutely right my friend Pembrokeshire in the summer is stunning and St.Ishmaels has a nice accessible sandy beach in Lindsway Bay. Being as far west as is possible we get some amazing sunsets. The people here are extremely friendly and we are welcomed back at the club for the 4th year.

...and IF you can find the time between the tunes your only a short drive from Freshwater bay & bit of Harry Potter nostalgia or the beaches at Sandy Haven & Broadhaven which rival any in the UK. Visit the stunning cathedral at St. David's in the UK's smallest city. Pembroke Castle is a must see and, if the army are on night manouvers at the gunnery range at Castle Martin, it's the best free "firework" display from accross the bay you'll ever see. Seaside fun at Tenby, or hope for a sunny Sunday and a home fixture and it's cricket on the green, chilled out to N. Soul filtering through in the background... bliss (even if you don't like cricket). It's a relaxed event with some great music from Dj's who have "been there" & "done that".

Have a great weekend in this wonderful area of  Wales 

My father's family lived in the Dock 

Shame  we won't be in the area for this would have loved to get to your event !

Will look out  for next year & adjust my visit to the land of my father
