He has a great box of records aimed straight at the floor & his set from earlier this year was outstanding loads of new to me sounds played & FTMNTC gave him their approval for his return.

What can I say about this event totalling refreshing, tunes of which 80% I never heard before, or forgot, a sound system that is probably one of the best I've heard soul music played on, the room is not the ritz, but somewhere that takes you back to nostalgic times in line with the music,

It's only 50 yards from the original torch venue, nice to see people who had even travelled down from Yorkshire, and up from Stafford, if you want rare and something different then this is place, can't wait for the next event. Thanks to all the guys for those wonderful spins 

Top night and the music was back to back up-tempo up-front soul. My mojo had waned over the last year or two and we haven’t found many places that really deliver our sort of tunes....but that’s all now changed! Will be back in early March for another dose of amazing soulful music with like minded people. Well done chaps

'd just like to say...a really BIG THANK YOU ..to all those enthusiasts who came on Saturday night and made it a really special night. The lads have worked really hard to get this up and running over the months..and it was really heartening to see a full dancefloor for them. 

It goes without saying..your attendance is very much appreciated and we really do hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did

Musically there was a 'grand' mix of stuff and hopefully we ticked the boxes of :

YES we will play a broad range of soul music
YES we will play some Northern Soul
YES we will play some you may know
YES we will play some you may have forgotten
YES we will play some you may not know
YES our DJ's are very handsome and approachable and will talk to you about the music, football, weather not Brexit etc etc..

....with regards the last 'statement' I must say the chaps looked quite resplendent in the 'club t shirts' :-)...big shout out to John Gal for those and of course the 'comp CD which i hope you all enjoy..cheers Gal

Not forgetting Little George who played a blinder of a set...a bit of everything !!

The 'new faces' (and indeed the regulars) that came really got 'into it' from the get go and created that FTMNTC vibe !! right through  till 2pm !!

As Kev has mentioned ..next one up is a  Friday 6th of March....lets make a date of it !!!
