Top Of The Stairs Soul Club Denton

This event and all future events have found a new date and a new home in Denton

We have arranged the SECOND SUNDAY of each month at our fabulous new venue

DENTON WEST END SOCIAL CLUB , 53 GROSVENOR ST , DENTON , M34 3WN

The seventh one is on sunday the 8th March 2020 at 3 pm prompt and finishing just before 8pm (at 7-45pm)

Music Policy - Northern Soul , Soul , Wheel , Sixties soul classics , R n B , Motown , forgotten oldies , a few modern as well

almost 5 hours of wonderful music for just £5 , massive free car park and convenient bus stops close by as well

the Stagecoach 201 or 204 bus service can drop you off either on Manchester Road (opposite Churchgate Surgery and Christ Church) if coming from town, or just past the traffic lights at Christ Church if coming from Hyde or Denton or Haughton Green

The club is less than 5 minutes from any of the nearby bus stops and less than 10 minutes walk from Crown Point or the C P Shopping Centre

It also has a huge free car park with very easy access from Seymour Street , or from Taylor Lane, plus from Manchester Road too

If coming by car from Denton Rock roundabout (M60 or Hyde Road) , choose the local A road past Malbern and Pugbitz ,not the M67 Motorway to Hyde

If coming from Hyde or from Bredbury , head for Manchester from Crown point crossroads, turn right just after Christ Church , then right again

also , everyone should bear in mind that Hyde Road is closed near Reddish Bridge all weekend , due to the railway bridge being removed on the Manchester side of Debdale Park and Reddish Bridge , nearer the Lord Nelson pub and Chapman Street, diversions will be in place I believe

I would recommend coming either on the M60 motorway from either Whitefield or Stockport to the Denton Rock Roundabout, or come up Ashton Old Road and turn right onto Audenshaw Road at the Trough Garage (Lockwoods) and again turn right onto Stamford Road at the mini roundabout about half a mile before Guide Bridge.

Then go up and over the railway bridge and again turn right onto Corporation Road followed by a left onto Taylor Lane (past the Premier Lounge (Bigwigs) and follow it past the school), keeping on Seymour Street, then turning left onto Grosvenor St just where Carmel Church is (its on your right hand side) , just before the lights and the M67.

The club and car park are situated just on your right hand side. The postcode M34 3WN should work fine in modern satnavs (53 Grosvenor St)
