About The Event

The COVID-19 measures have left the Rare Soul scene littered with cancelled events and the faithful following home alone at the weekends; so the Bury Town Hall team have decided to launch a ‘virtual’ all-nighter. The show will be broadcast over internet radio every Saturday while we’re under lockdown from 20:00 until the early hours of Sunday morning.

The format will be just like a real event with a selection of DJs from previous and upcoming all-nighters at Bury Town Hall selecting their spots, carefully in order, from actual records they own to keep it real.

...and we also hope to be posting links for use with iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, Real Player & Quick Time in the near future.
We hope you enjoy the show and it goes some way to filling the void and lifting your spirits

Blimey !! Some real Heavyweight spinners lined up for this Saturdays BGT.. 

I look forward, as always, to all the sets offered by the selected DJ's each week but REALLY looking forward to hearing what Mr Dick will offer - as he has so many class rarities in his collection he will be spoilt for choice..

And we'll all be just plain spoilt !!

Hopefully I can last long enough to enjoy Les's spot too.. cos he can certainly thread them together well enough to produce a sweater even..

BRING IT ON !! Please.. 😃.

Furloughed this week, so no dodgy Latin tracks, (should keep naught Nige happy) AWESOME line up this week, should WILL be an absolute stormer...

What time you picking me up Len ?? I have to go to the allotment until around three, but will be back home, showered and changed, and ready for about 4 ish.. Gaffer tape at the ready.. 😁

The Gaffer Tape needs to be under your Face Mask (Not over it) Johnny you are going to be so hot wearing all that on ya face! See  you at 4.03pm.

Ok then, Status report from 'The Dopson' household.....I was up at 6.00am this morning, I texted Simon, and he texted straight back! The poor ol' boy had been up since 5.00am working on the show!

I've had a 'Power Nap' since, so gonna head off to Johnny's soon - I'll help him at his allotment.

Mmmmm, I think I'll take my Gaffer Tape to be sure.....

It was always beans on toast Tea for me pre all nighters Back in the day .Cheese on top of course .No alcohol . A little different with the virtual all nighter .Looking forward to tonight .

We like to arrive early. Even though we checked in at 6.30pm last week, we were still late, the music had begun and we missed Darrow Fletcher.
