About The Event

The COVID-19 measures have left the Rare Soul scene littered with cancelled events and the faithful following home alone at the weekends; so the Bury Town Hall team have decided to launch a ‘virtual’ all-nighter. The show will be broadcast over internet radio every Saturday while we’re under lockdown from 20:00 until the early hours of Sunday morning.

The format will be just like a real event with a selection of DJs from previous and upcoming all-nighters at Bury Town Hall selecting their spots, carefully in order, from actual records they own to keep it real.

You can join us at https://www.radioking.com/radio/soulallniter

We hope you enjoy the show and it goes some way to filling the void and lifting your spirits

Thanks again to all the spinners for what were great sets. Ended up being too busy on Discogs as usual!

Special mention to (I think) Bob Hinsley for digging up that Robert Banks track - great stuff. And Chalky - that Gladys Knight tune was pitch perfect.

Carrying on from the virtual AllDayer - the AllNiter just kept the quality flowing.
Great DJ line up with their slant of choices and boy did they deliver.
Wilxy sneaked in (YES, I know you were offered it) with a 7-8pm slot - very kind of Simon.
Just carry on the good work everyone as I am loving it.

Tom.

Maybe your turn for a select 25 records next Tom????????????????

Nor me (Currently playing it for the fourth time)

What a day! Yes a marathon, but I think loads of us listened to the whole thing! I listened from in the bath, to the graveyard (Visiting Dad's grave), to my record room, then (thanks to 'Soulandy') to our garden whilst burning everything that I thought could be flamable in my ('LD Fabrications' made) Fire pit! The kids were up until 1.00am, completely ignoring Nina's 'Marge Simpson' sounding groans :D

As Pete touched upon above, this whole thing is made up of so many things.  Not least the enthusiasm, fun, and positivity that all the listeners bring to the party - 'The Magic'

Thanks for having me once again - Here's what I managed 'to get on the decks' (To quote our Johnny Fingers)

Len

'THE FESTIVALS - YOU'VE GOT THE MAKINGS OF A LOVER'

‘THE SPECIALS - YOU STOOD ME UP’

Every week we think it can't get any better, then it does,so many quality tracks have been aired over the last 11 weeks deffo "food for thought" going forward.

Only Len could have this happen to him . Anyone travelling from a nighter could probably have a good story to tell but to actually fit the story into the DJ set. Len the Legend
