About The Event

The COVID-19 measures have left the Rare Soul scene littered with cancelled events and the faithful following home alone at the weekends; so the Bury Town Hall team have decided to launch a ‘virtual’ all-nighter. The show will be broadcast over internet radio every Saturday while we’re under lockdown from 21:00 until the early hours of Sunday morning.

The format will be just like a real event with a selection of DJs from previous and upcoming all-nighters at Bury Town Hall selecting their spots, carefully in order, from actual records they own to keep it real.

It's been great all night.  I just texted Simon that I am really, and I mean really, enjoying Bob's set, and that this radio outlet has been good for our Bob - He's just playing awesome stuff.

God love him

We don't usually drink when we go dancing (not a good look on the dancefloor)! We have though raised a glass (or two) to everyone who, like us, have enjoyed every minute of the bury virtual allnighter experience.

Already looking forward to july.

Thanks all, Thejackos.

As with all comments above, my appreciation for the work that has gone into this. Lots of new sounds heard during the last few months alongside the familiar tunes. It has certainly made a big difference during a challenging time and while it will be great when, eventually, we can actually get back out to events, this has definitely filled a gap that maybe we didn't realise existed before we had ever heard of covid. Take a bow, organisers and spinners! :hatsoff2:
