BURY ANNIVERSARY VIRTUAL ALL-NIGHTER

The BURY TOWN HALL VIRTUAL ALL-NIGHTER keeps rolling on, ending a busy month on a high, celebrating what would have been the REAL BURY ALL-NIGHTER ANNIVERSARY on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28th

So, we bring you in all their glory, Live on MIXCLOUD and RADIO KING, the BVAN DJ team that’s been entertaining you since the first Saturday, of the first lockdown in March 2020!

Bob Hinsley, Baz Maleedy, Jordan Wilson, Chalky, Les Harrison, Len Dobson, Simon Ingham, Mick Howard and Pete-Crampton

Spinning the biggest and best tunes from 7pm with no let up till the wee small hours

So join us for some great sounds, banter and nonsense from 7pm

Great night and enjoyed it, what an anniversary should be. Top night and hats off to the djs and most of all the production team for all there hard work. 👍

A huge thankyou to everyone involved last night including the Soul Source crew who are the icing on the cake! - I know I speak for all the DJs when I say we thoroughly enjoy what we're doing.

It was certainley and interesting experience in the studio - looks like we'll be doing more of that in the near future.......................now what the hell are we going to deliver in December? 🤔

On a more serious note.. What A Feckin' Night !! Well.. what I listened to at least

Was on the BVAN Soul Source thread as well as chatting in both the Radio King AND Mixcloud rooms from the kick off of the request hour at 6pm, through to 10pm when I unfortunately had to take my leave.. But WHAT A BLAST I had !! Didn't really have a clue who was playing what, when, as the format for the evening saw regular rotation of 3 choices from each of the Dee Jays for the night interspersed with satisfying the online requests from over 2000 Soulies spread around the globe !! The music was top drawer and made it an anniversary to remember.. along with the banter coming from the chat rooms. I evn had to get up out of my chair and dance at one point !! A sight that obviously proved amusing to my new neighbours as they must have wondered what the hell I was doing.. I could almost hear them asking each other if they should call an ambulance in case I was having a fit !! lol

Hats off to everyone involved from the production team, the DJ's AND the attendees that add the cherry to the icing.. Superb !!

I think I lasted till about 2ish before crashing out, not long been up and it's still on is it a weekender ? .just like to say Thanks to all involved last night as I said in the chat room gave it that 2 or more room venue feel without having to switch absolutely brilliant idea another Bvan success Cheers guys

It's hard to fully appreciate what Simon does week in week out with this show until you actually witness it.  It is a lot of hard work for the pleasure of other, not something I could do on a weekly basis.  So I personally would like to thank Simon for all he has done.  

Thanks for last night too, top night and a great way to celebrate 1 year of Bury, hopefully the second anniversary will be in Bury itself.

What a great virtual crowd too, over 2000 on mixcloud alone, wow, thanks to you all. Some great banter in the three chat rooms which makes the night even more special.

This project has been so well received by so many, I think there will still be a place for it even when we get back 'out there' :wink:

Just following on from what both Len and Soulandy have posted I think that between you, you've nailed it on the head ,and for Simon would probably be a lot easier to put on air a live alnighter ,because not everyone can get in and possibly not everyone physically capable, and who would want to miss  the atmosphere of the return of the real thing sends shivers down your spine just thinking about it,,,,,,,,,,

2000 souls  Simon   you make your own luck  Fantastic production  again .All contributions were given for the Love of it  The new to me scene is booming the young guns scene is looking stronger than ever( im so proud of these guys) and you have helped everyone get through this dreadful situation together .You drove this forward and it is a special event in N S history now 

If the plan is to broadcast on   12 TH ,19TH,  Boxing Day, can we make the shows 3-4  hours weekly?  A NYE event 10-2 ?    Or 1 nighter on the 19th ?

Or none of the above and have a well earned break Guys ?  

Last night couldnt have been any better ,i  fell unconscious around 2.30 am and am grateful for this lighthouse in choppy times ,the best is still to be discovered i reckon !!!

Your suggestions are noted - once I've recovered from last night we can make plans for the festive offering(s) :thumbup:

3-4 hours intermediate shows with maybe a big bang nighter for Xmas or New Year has it's appeal I'm sure, and I'm sure the crew will be happy to chip in with their thoughts :D
