About The Event

There will be a brand new Bury Virtual All-Nighter on the last Saturday of every month until the soul scene live events are back up and running again. Each Saturday in-between we will be presenting Bury Town Hall Reloaded which will feature a selection of sets from previous shows chosen by the Soul Source listeners along with the now-famous Soul Source All-Requests hour from 7pm.

Join us in the chatroom at www.radioking.com/radio/soulallniter

29th of August will be a 'special' for Lenny Dopsons 50th birthday.

Lenny will be selecting the DJs for the night and we will also have a set from one of the true legends of Northern Soul in the mix - Brian Rae

Great to see Jem on the DJ roster.
Been to some fine "do's" of his in the past.
He's a bit of a GEM !

Thanks for the producer type stuff Simon - We know it is a lot of work, especially with the attention to detail that you focus on.

As we touched upon, half hour sets don't really do it for lots of us at a venue, but I'm hoping this one off will act as a 'fast pace' enjoyable radio show.

Early night for me tonight, so I can make it to very end

Cheers,

Len

Len. Sir Baz of Maleedy used to have 1/2 hour guest spots at the legendary Saints club,  made the guests dig that bit deeper with two completely different sets.  It used to work especially when it was a dj with particular tastes in music that you didn't necessarily like as you could talk for 30 minutes,  having a laugh then start to take notice again when the other guest was behind the decks.

Really looking forward to Lennys birthday celebrations tomorrow, it would be easy to focus on the negatives (i.e. we can't celebrate in real time) but I think better to focus on giving Len a great virtual birthday

Len & I half-jokingly talked about the possibility of celebrating his 50th on BVAN back in March and now it's reallity - I for one will be fully bought in tomorrow night, having had a sneak peak of the sets from all the DJs who've done us proud YET AGAIN...........week 24 - who would've thought it!!!
Maybe we can have a delayed real life 50th for Len when we get back into the swing of things - all in favour say aye
