Getting excited about BVAN.  nearly time.  Especially after missing so much of last week but I have a great excuse,  I blame the company I was with and the amazing new hot tub  

'Nearly' evening Steve - The Boss has said I should venture in to the radio chat room tonight, so I will try to log on in there too later.  Not sure if I can keep up to speed with you lot, but I'll try my bestest.

Today I've had requests to play tonight (as I do lots of weeks) Which proves that the show comes across as if it is live - Down to good work behind the scenes I'd say 

It's my film choice this afternoon, so it's back to 'The Great Escape' for me right now.

Lenny invited the Allbrighton crew to DJ @ the Embankment Club one time. Everyone just sat there all night, until Len came on for last 45 mins or so. I thought the music was great BUT not to the liking of the normal attendees. I brought a car full over from Banbury and they were not impressed either.

Had to mention this Len as you mentioned Allbrighton.
Such a strange night that was.

Dont know what you mean sir.  I ate a big jelly once. Many years ago a good friend of mine from Warrington ( sadly passed away ) Weno ( legend ) came round to my house one friday evening with a jelly and one of those massive church candles in the middle. He lit the candle then proceeded to tell me he wasnt going home until the candle had burnt out, then casually mentioned that the jelly was helped to set with 3 ounces of the finest amphetamines known to man. 5am Monday i had to blow the candle out and get ready for a 6am shift at work.

I remember it well Tom - I still have nightmares about it 

That was the night a crowd of people marched across the dance floor, over to me with their coats on and said......."Len, we didn't travel to listen to this sh*t, we're leaving!"....... (They hadn't travelled that far) It hurt at the time 

If I can't get in to my party in a few minutes, the Boss is going to kindly let me in using his 'ID' (Lennys Leg)

God it's all moving at some pace tonight what with texts, chat room, and on here!

....Ok (Btw - I logged in under Simon's 'Lennyleg', posted a comment, but it said your comment has been sent - I'll keep trying)

Where was I? Yes, me Dad - His stage name was 'CHA CHA THE CLOWN' (He had his own egg) ((Google that in the clown world)) 

My dad was also a carpet cleaner, and no word of a lie - He had the clown ad on one half of his van, and the carpet cleaning ad on the other half! Looking back, it was marketing genius!......"Oh no what a mess with all this birthday cake on the carpet CHA CHA"......."Hang on, I know just the man madam!".......Dad then simply drives down the road, turns his van around, then 'hey presto!' (Quiet litterally!)
