I for one will miss the regular events on the BVAN but one thing's for sure ,You have done more (that's all the Bvan crew) than this Government did through all the Lockdowns and that was ,,, to give us soulies something to look forward to at the weekends , and hopefully "This Time" it's not " A False Alarm " and with "A Little Faith And Understanding" it's time to "Keep On Keeping On " ,,"For Real " ,,,thanks Guys hopefully catch up soon "For Real "

Hi one and all, just to let you know this Saturday sees the last of the regular, monthly Bury Town Hall Virtual All-Nighter (BVAN) online sessions.

Having run from March 2020, through all the various lock downs and welcomed over 4200 members to the Facebook group, set up to publicise the events, we have decided that it’s time to plan for the return of the BURY TOWN HALL ALL-NIGHTERS. So, the resident DJ’s invite you to join us THIS SATURDAY 26th JUNE on Radio King and Mixcloud for the last BVAN weekly show. The show will run from 8pm through to 2am (maybe later) and will feature some of the sounds you’ll hear when we get back to Bury, hopefully, very soon

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those people who have ‘tuned in’ to the BVAN shows, it’s been fantastic! Special thanks to all the people who have joined in the various ‘chats’ on Radio King, Mixcloud, Facebook and Soul Source and all the people who have posted a superb selection of music on the Bury Town Hall Virtual All-Nighter Facebook group. Last, but not least, thanks all the DJ’s who have entertained us with top quality tuneage over the past year and a bit

As much as I would love these sessions to roll on I realise the need of those who need to get out there, even if many miles from my abode.  I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has made these sessions such an aural delight not forgetting the banter brigade on Soul Source.  Massively looking forward to tomorrow and if anyone is still finishing their slots off a new one to me this week which is slightly left field is DeRobert & The Half Truths - I Just Don't Care.  I now need to start on my BVAN playlists first track 'Memory - James King'

All good things come to a end. And BVAN has certainly been one of the best things ever. So with hand on heart ❤ I would like to thank each and every single person who has played their part in BVAN no matter what way. From the hard work of everyone behind the scenes involved bringing this together,  to the Dj,s who have played stuff that I can only dream of buying,  so many new to my ears records that without doubt will become classics in there own way for various reasons. 

A certain person who sent me a few records free of charge massive thanks . 

Every single person who has requested stuff that . What can I say Brilliant  absolutely Brilliant.  The request hours have been as good as any DJ set that's been played over the last 15 months.  

And finally the people who have been in the chatrooms either on here. Mixcloud or especially the Radioking one. Loved every single minute of the banter, shared knowledge and laughter.  It's been a pleasure and I sincerely hope that we can all meet up soon at the real Bury nighter.

As a footnote.  Kiki Dee became something of a BVAN anthem and if possible could it be played as the ender for the request hour

Just want to say that the BVAN nights have been fantastic and have get me going through these tough times.

Brilliant job by all the BVAN crew. Loads of tunes that were new to me as well as some I'd forgotten about, but needed resurrecting in my brain.  Plus the added bonus of the banter and knowledge in the chatrooms.

Who knows I may venture up north to sample it for real at some stage.

Ste - I'm doing the last set tomorrow night, I thought I started it so I should finish it; and I've included your request as the last record of the night my friend - quite fitting I felt (hopefully there still be some of us online to enjoy it LOL)

Couldn't let the last event pass by,so I've created a separate thread in "All About The Soul" feel free to share your thoughts and memories of the last year,link below.

Summed up superbly in previous posts, I must add my gratitude in what will be a bittersweet evening tomorrow! Without wishing to sound maudlin, the Bury Virtual Experience, has created a superb example of escapism for the likes of myself and my "BVAN Buddies" in these uncertain times, and whilst I certainly hope that the doors re-open in reality at the Town Hall Bury, I am on the other hand saddened by an almost institutional Saturday night "In", listening to the superb endless musical repertoire coming to an end! I would however like to sincerely thank, Simon for the original initiative, and hard work in providing such a regular and moreover excellent vehicle of enjoyment on such a regular basis since March 2020, and furthermore to the exceptional array of entertainment given up by the DJ line-ups and BVAN Team in its' totality! 

I hope to actually attend the Town Hall "proper" in due course, when it's back up and running, and look forward to being amongst "My BVAN Buddies" in person.......(In the meantime "see you" in the Radio King chatroom tomorrow)

Looking forward to tonight, BVAN has turned up some unreal music new to us all and education from the djs in itself. Been some great nights and as for lennys stories one of the true highlight for me,had me in stitches.Good to see chalky on as well as lenny tonight as both been like a breathe of fresh air with there selections. The Bury resident well what can you say that hasnt already been posted. Simon finishing what HE started is a nice touch .

Just been thinking .  I know that's dangerous for people like me but it had to be done.  I have not missed one single Saturday night of BVAN since it started.  That's every Saturday night since March 2020. Omg .  Will the loop be on next week  ? Or is tonight the final chapter
