Guest GPJON Posted April 26, 2009 Share Posted April 26, 2009 On a positive note I arrived early and enjoyed the experience until about 10.00pm. But then having spent all day resting and reserving my energy for the Saturday night out I started to realise that from a multiple choice of venues I had chosen the wrong one for me. Ah I've just remembered that apart from my immediate companions there was probably no-one else in other than the staff up to that time. Yeh I've been around along time and I'm set in my ways with an appetite for oldies and Motown. However for disco, crossover and modern fans it was the place to be. The attendance was around 30 approx and unless the lavatorial conversations were fueled by drink then my money would be safely placed betting on a smaller attendance next month as the tunes did not suit the majority. Yes I'm griping because my expectations were not realised, we've been here before and I for one would not like to see the venue fail! Link to comment
