The warm night got hotter as a lively crowd ascended into the Golden Lion, Weymouth, for what was to be a excellent evening of Motown, Northern, 60's & 70's Soul. From the very start the dancing commenced and continued throughout the evening with an across the board mix of soul music, provided by the resident DJ Steve Lyons, InCrowd Soul Society and special guest Dick "The Pirate". After a break of six months, the crowd indicated that they had a lot of catching up to do and proved that with their dancing and record requests. Regulars and new faces contributed to the great atmosphere which at the Golden Lion has become the norm. As the couple who had travelled down from Dudley for the event said "Keep the Faith".
