Pauldonnelly
Details Please ?? Must admit it's nice to see those four letters back on the pages of this site As always Mick just wanted to be involved in something a 'bit different' and as such have approached a couple of upmarket watering/scoff holes within the City to have a Sunday 2pm to 8pm session playing predominantly 70's crossover with a splattering of Northern and hopefully some Soulful House. I was keen not to be seen doing anything that would jeopardise the existing venues in Peterborough specifically choosing a music policy, a day and venue that would uphold the values and vision of my bothers Different Kettle of Fish philosophy. Somewhere where people can drive to, park easily; relax in superb surroundings with a beer, some fine wines, some food and of course some decent music. Fingers crossed first chill out day will be Sunday 3rd of August with a follow up on Monday 31st Aug and possibly two dates in Sept, then that'll be that until June next year. Details regarding the venue will hopefully be released Monday 6th July. Link to comment

After 20mins this young Spanish dj turned up and within 30mins the place was packed with locals who just chilled having a beer, a chat and some superb scoff while tapping their feet to some awesome soulful house. I know we haven't got the climate however the venue I think I'm going for has on site parking, a nice patio area with tables, chairs and parasols that leads into a small function room that has its own bar and small dance floor. Superb food and even accommodation is available (I have an idea for a future event) In simplistic terms a superb environment for those that enjoy the social side of this areas vibrant soul scene, come on over, have a drink have your Sunday tea on the patio whilst listing to our beautiful music. No pretence, no shyte, no back stabbing just another can of worms. Cya on the 9th August Link to comment

Sunday morning, thought I'd take a few minutes to have a look and saw this for the first time. Sounds great, fresh and friendly. Won't be able to make the first date due to sitting in the rain in Cornwall but hope to be there for Sept. Although nervous about bringing KevH, SteveL and Big Paul, all day bar not a good idea with those boys!!! Be an intersteing journey home. Place looks very smart, music choice sounds refreshing (particularly suitable for a Sunday chill) and good to be in company with Paul and Mick. Hope to see you in Sept. Dean. Link to comment
