Well to say this night was absolutely brilliant in every respect would be the biggest understatement of the year. With The imminent closure and subsequent demolition of the Hydey on everyones mind the accent on having a bloody good night came to the fore and the deejay's kept the dancefloor crammed from the word go. Numbers were as expected with a little over the 100 mark showing full appreciation for the tunes spun. This is certainly one of the top venues here in Perth and we have managed to secure a ' last night ' on the 14th of November. Let's hope Woolies have a change of mind and let the place continue on as is. aLL Sounds familiar to a situation in Wigan some 28 years ago. Gotta say a massive thanks to the guest deejay's, Paul Hannigan and Denny Johnson plus my luvvly deejay wife Suzie Q, YOU PLAYED SOME BLINDING MUSIC. i did'nt do too bad either lol. Our next gig here in W.A. is at our usual venue ' the FLY ' on Friday 18th September. If your in Freo come and see what all the fuss is about. We know our Soul down under and the numbers prove that.
