Had a brilliant night, met lots of new people, danced to great music, had lots of fun with the water pistol....LOL, 2 records which stood out for me were Magicians (Mr Harris played it at end) and a record Kitch played by the Marquineeks or Martineeks???? sorry for spellings but my brain is dead and also cant remember the name.....I shouldn't drink pints and then lots of bacardi.

It was one of the best nights ever for me, just a great atmosphere, people out to enjoy themselves and hear some bloody good music.

I dont think we could have got many more people through the doors without it going into meltdown....lol

Thanks to you all for attending and supporting the venue.

More later....

Great fun last night, one head say's 'take it easy, leg's just out of plaster', tother head say's 'go on dance', and Kev was too good to resist, I picked the second, so my stiff and sore leg is your fault Mr Fearnhead, All dj's played some outstanding tune's, liked Ezzie's R&B he played. great atmosphere, a very friendly crowd, good company, had a good laugh with some good friend'sthumbup.gif.

Geoff (march hare) Rudd your f***ing crazy mate, even madder than Cogsylaugh.giflaugh.gif.

Well done Paul another gud'n.

Really really gutted i missed Morley Carr, but I had promised several months ago, that I would attend Mr Bicknells new niter. Wish I'd gone with my gut and come to morley instead where I know it always delivers and the crowd are soul people. Not that I mind mixing with drunken local punters, Wanabee gangsters and a selection of Manchesters tartiest 'working girls' But then Iv'e never been fussy, have I?

Rosemary, I shall say 10 hail Marys, 10, our Fathers and sleep on a bed of nails as pennance. Forgive a lost and misguided soul!

Had a fantastic time last nite & great to see it busy.

The only downside to the evening was the amount of alcohol I drank & so felt a little ruff this morning.

Other than that thanks to all involved.

First time here for us!

Just had to go and see what all the fuss was about !!

Kno most the faces who attend regularly and kno what Paul Harris's views on the scene are about.

So not surprised in the slightest to find the music policy SPOT ON !! played out to a knowledgabel quite long in the tooth type crowd.

Fantastic hunger to listen to new tunage with that extra special edge.

All Djs have their own style and arnt afraid to express this !!

So welldone Mr Harris and everyone who supports, like a breath of fresh air and defo not for top 500 fans. Be Warned !!

Will Definately be back when they sort the roadworks out LOL !

Don't rub it in! Seriously, with places like Morley Carr and YSC delivering just the kind of goodies I want to hear, I'm considering giving 'niters the flick!

I had a good night again, made by being in fantastic company, and listening to great music. Thought everyone did well, especially my good mate Kev. But must just say that Mr. Kitchener was sheer class. Well done Paul and Rosemary, see you next time.

Travelled down to support my mate Ezzie and well worth the journey. Thoroughly enjoyed his set, he played a blinder!!!

Really enjoyed Kev's set and have to say I thought Kitch played some amazing stuff!!!

Unfortunately left early as I was rather 'cream crackered', so missed out on Col and Paul's sets.

Lovely to see Jean and Geoff as always and great to see Wendy who I haven't seen for ages!!! I think I freaked them

both out as I was neither p--sed or in talking bollocks mode!!! :(

Lovely atmosphere and rammed!!! THINK IF THIS GETS ANY MORE POPULAR, PAUL WILL HAVE TO BE THINKING ABOUT A NEW VENUE!!!

Well done to all involved. :)

Had ANOTHER excellant nite out at Morley Carr. Its such a nice, friendly venue and the sounds have ALWAYS been varied, unpredictable and a pleasure

to hear at this jolly ?lickle? venue. We were in good company throughout the nite and much fanx to our dear matey,John Horsler, for putting us up for the nite, also. The most priceless bit of the nite, for me,was when me two besty matey's,LYNN BIRD and LESLEY PELL,decided to ?POLEDANCE? on the rail that runs along front of the bar,It were near end of the nite and they were a tad inebriated, but they just cracked me up watching pair of em,specially when Mrs Bird took it a step further and was "near pornographic"with her antics on the bar rail, the little tinker.I apologised to Rosemary, but she took it all in good fun, bless her.Have booked me weekend off work for the next one in October, and it is now a regular addition on our calendar.Well done and Thank you to all who put this grand soul nite together.

Much Love

Time to jump on this Bullet train of underplayed & Rare Soul Night's because this place is speedily becoming the place to be & be seen, even though it's smack in the middle of Chemical Alley but not the Iraqi one however if it ever blows we'll be the new generation of DC comic Super Heroes & thats even scarierwacko.gif . First port of call is to the Valley of the Doll's to pick up the Dynamic Duo, Horace & Doris aka Col & Shirl, then it's up t'hill to Corley Marr as Gail keeps calling it & it's a right warm welcome from Paul "T-Shirt for every ocassion" Harris & the warmest smile this side of the Pennines from the still blooming bride & all round lovely person Rosemarywub.gif . Entry gained into the dark inner sanctum of Soul & to the bar where the staff almost smile, not quite but almostlaugh.gif . We settle down in Shirl's dance corner with Cog & Jan,Simon & Wendy,Big Paul, Kev H & Steve L, Martyn & Lynne,Chris & Sue,Kev & Pauline,Willie & Sarah also Andy & Di put in an appearance but had to leave early as Andy is keeping the enemy from the door, so to speakboxing.gif. Boy was it hotsweatingbullets.gif , infact hotter than the crack in Krakatoa & no relief as the windows were unopenable due to undesirable type thieving toe-rags gaining entry to have a jolly old time,oh what a jape.Eventually after much pleading & beggar plus a little grovelling from Paul the bag door was opened (Well you wouldn't want your back doors kicking in, would you??shout.gif ) with a total ban on smoking out there, don't ask why cause we havn't a clue, it's a power thing I thinkpirate.gif ??

The room was rammed, fullest I think I've seen it but I spent most of the night at the cool corner trying not to overheatsweatingbullets.gif I did however not miss much & thoroughly enjoyed the tunes, Ezzie the trainee did a lovely spot even though we caught just half of it, I missed two thirds of Kev's due to heat exhaustion & lost of essential minerals & bodily fluid but I rallied for Kitch whos as always was excellent value for money but this weeks winner of Spot the Ball is Col Wood who's set was fandabidozi, no not because he's a very good mate or our travelling compadre but because it bleeding well was,top marks fella & the rest of youthumbup.gif . We left just before the final whistle with me sneaking off into the hazy moonlight(Think it was Chlorine vapour) to the car to put aircon on for our Droylsden daytrip, I get all emotional really but I can't tell you that can Inono.gif .Paul you've got a rough Diamond there that's polishing up very nicely & wether you like it or not we'll be back.wink.gif

Take care,be safe & remember,"Like a rubber ball,I'll come bouncing back to you,Like a rubber ball,I'll come bouncing back to you, Bouncy,Bouncy,Bouncy,Bouncy",
