Best weekend in my life, beterr best five days, since I met with my old mate Jaime Ostos until monday nighth all was fantastic. Arthur, Mick, Flanny, Taffy, Ady, know they are diamonds and also all my spanish friends Ismael, Mardi, Luisma, Josepa top mix of SOUL music. New sunday session was brilliant, plenty of happy faces, never forget when Taffy played Bobby Sheen. Thanks again, and special metion Luppers Amstrong and his tour on the Moon. See u next year. Corbett80 Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 Would just like to thank Luisma and everyone for having us, Gill and I had an amazing time, the food and atmosphere were fantastic, the venue stunning and the staff very generous and kind. The spa was brilliant as well. Musically it was about as good as it gets, with Josepa and Mardi playing some great records as well as all the DJs from the UK contingent....especially Saturday night which was one of the best night's of music i've heard in some time from Arthur, Mick, Flanny And Taff.....Love Stormy Weather, Roy Roberts, Billy Byrd, Donald Thomas ect ect....top stuff. The friends, the english crew (friends too), the hotel crew (especially BENJA), the venue, the acctitude, the music, the foods, the "postres", the sound, the wheather (very hard in this zone sometimes), the spa, the very very emotional Taffy's sunday set................. and finally everything we did this weekender will be always on my mind and into my soul. THANK YOU ALL, ONE MILLION TIMESS!!!!!!! This is what i look for when back for a weekender, and even specially more happy to see friends from UK, big thanks respect for all of you, top class people comin to make soul big. I enjoy each set i heard, the only problem is not to have better english to spend more time talking with you the way i wish. I sure next year will be better (if it's possible) as we all know the venue and the only thing have to do is make better and better. I have never spent a weekender in such opulent surroundings,immaculate palatial hotel,wonderful views,great food,delicious wine & of course Amazing friends who made it all come together!! Can't remember much of Saturday night sorry..... David glad you enjoyed my moon lectures. Next time my alter ego might be Jacques Cousteau but perhaps next time I'll give my talks in the spa?
