Yorksoultrain - Crescent, York

Recommended Posts

Well, What a fantastic year this venue has had. From YORKSOULTRAIN moving venues a couple of years ago from The Junction, to The Crescent, I have only missed going twice (due to DJ-in at other venues) and I can honestly say it's a FULL HOUSE every time, including last night. Venue started at 7.30pm and by 9pm the room was full including the dance floor. This place offers "Soulies" pure across the board Soul with "No Politics".......... Something for everyone, which also includes an hour dedicated to the Rare and underplayed which is always provided by YORKSOULTRAIN'S very own Lovely "DJ Diva Di".

It was an absolute pleasure to be one of the Guest DJ's last night. I Guested back in January and last night was no different.............. "Awesome"

Thank you once again to all involved at YORKSOULTRAIN for bringing pleasure to both Linda and myself for the past few years we have lived here in York.

Here is my playlist (In Alphabetical Order):

Firstly i would like to thank bridgey for the above post, since the birth of yorksoultrain ive allways tried to give our supporters somthing special & as you can see by the playlist above saturday was no exception. The music was absolutly brilliant by all our dj`s for the evening. A big special thanks to ALUN NICHO whos been with us from the begining of yorksoultrain and allways turns up and just gets on with it. Both Ian & dicko did us proud on saturday, many ,many thanks guys, your efforts are well appreciated by myself. To all who have supported us over the past eight years a BIG BIG thankyou, this event has allways been about you who pay to come through the door & the support you give us is most appreciated. Upwards & onwards into 2010 with a host of special guests, hopefully we`ll recieve the same support as have in the past. A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL FROM YORKSOULTRAIN-REGARDS HARRY:thumbup: PS MY PLAYLIST WILL BE POSTED TOMORROW AS WELL AS DIANES

Can someone tell me what track 15 is from the CD (between Irene & The Scotts and The Righteous Brothers) as the track list has slight wobble at this point. Great song. I Need You Baby?

:laugh::laugh: Will look through my files, & post it up later, sorry for not replying earlier having loads of bother today with broadband-HARRY:good:
