Another would be "Highwire"-Linda Carr & The Love Squad...

The best ever tune NOT to be played at The Casino ?

There are many , but I would have loved to have heard Dustbin Stanley introducing George Benson " The World Is A Ghetto " .

The look on peoples' faces would have been priceless .....

not sure if these two were played at the casino in the later years but two great tunes imo, betty lloyd,im catching on and carlena, the just brothers..and now normally i would spontaneously post up a youtube link but as the s/s peeps dont think much to youtube links i shall not bother, binkin killjoys but i suppose i know what they mean,!!!angry.gifunsure.gifph34r.gif gripe over,so imo the two tunes ive mentioned would have gone down well at station road.. plus i will include the motown unissued things like suspicion, baby a go go,etc...smile.gif

...and the answer is...'Movin'-Brass Construction :hatsoff2:

"BABY I WANT YOU" THE MOMENTS - HOG This record would have had people jumping over the tables to get on the floor!! What a shame it was not known then!

I remember when "What" Judy Street was played in Wigan as a brand new unknown!!! That was something to see! 6 weeks later it was pressed/booted! The rest is history"!
